2. Be Confident

Motivation is born from positivity. To instill motivation in your team, always strive to build people up rather than tearing them down. As for the negatives- instead of complaints, come with solutions to help turn those negatives into positives.
4. Be Knowledgeable
This should hopefully be obvious, but being knowledgeable about the market and industry is crucial to being an effective leader. It might seem impossible to fit in your schedule, but make a point to put aside time to educate yourself on new trends, technology, and industry news so that you’re not caught off-guard.
That being said, also know when to be humble. In the areas where you’re not as knowledgeable, surround yourself with experts that are. Listen to their advice when making decisions, and lend your own expertise and experience to the discussion.
5. Be Proactive
Most of us have read many books and articles on how to better manage our time and be more effective in our daily life. However, it’s also important to apply these same principles to managing a team or business, particularly in the fast-changing real estate industry.
Always look out for improvements to help your team work smarter and more efficiently. Don’t let your team remain stagnant or stuck in old habits. And always be on the lookout for the next great technology or strategy so that your competition doesn’t leave you in the dust.
6. Be a Team Player
Richard Branson once said, “A company is people… employees want to know… am I being listened to or am I a cog in the wheel? People really need to feel wanted.”
