Show Your Customers You’re Thankful This Year

The giving season is upon us, and what better way to celebrate than by showing your clients how thankful you are? We all love feeling appreciated, and showing your clients gratitude can go a long way for your business. Here are some ideas you can use this Thanksgiving or beyond!

1. Value Face-to-Face Conversations

The world after the pandemic saw a sharp incline in digital communication, but it lacks the intimacy of a face-to-face conversation. If you’re reaching out to a client (past or present), opt for an in-person meeting or video call instead- show your customers they are front of mind, not an afterthought.

2. Have a Client Appreciation Party

Another great way to have some face-time with your clientele is by hosting an appreciation party. This will allow you to check in with current clients and see some old faces, all in a relaxed setting they’ll be sure to appreciate. It may even turn into a great networking opportunity!

3. Send Handwritten Thank-You Cards

A hand-written note is an excellent to way to show gratitude, especially in the digital age. It shows that you took the time out of your day to sit down and pen a letter to your valued customer. It’s a small gesture that will have a big impact.

4. Celebrate Customer Milestones

Overtime, your customer relationships will develop and grow stronger. Show them you care by celebrating their closing anniversary, or even their birthday or wedding anniversary if you know them. Dates like this are a great way to stay top of mind with clients without traditional newsletters or marketing emails. And if your office uses a CRM, you can store these dates to automate emails like this in the future.

5. Send a Gift Basket

Like a written letter, a gift basket is a lot more personal and a warm way to go above and beyond for your customers this holiday season. Of course, this is a bit more extravagant and a slightly more costly alternative, nonetheless, your customers will remember it forever. And as a closing gift, a well-thought gift basket is always a nice touch.

Use these ideas help your work relationships blossom. And while it’s nice to give during the holiday season, these types of gestures will go a long way in showing your gratitude year-round.
